Two men were arrested last week in Orange County for crimes against children.

On July 28, William Brandon Napier, 27, of Gordonsville was arrested following a tip received by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit. The cyber tip regarded an individual suspected of possessing child abuse sexual material. An investigation identified Napier as the suspect. He was arrested and charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of possession of obscene material involving animals. He is being held without bond at the Central Virginia Regional Jail (CVRJ). According to law enforcement, the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.

The following day, William Ashby Lewis, 39, of Locust Grove was arrested. The arrest followed an investigation spurred by a cyber tip received by ICAC that Lewis was sharing child abuse sexual material via an online platform. Lewis has been charged with one count of possession of child sexual abuse material; one count of distribution of child sexual abuse material; and six counts of indecent liberties with a minor. He is being held without bond at CVRJ.
