Unionville traffic stop leads to two arrests

Driver, passenger facing charges

Two men were arrested following a traffic stop in Orange County last week. 

According to law enforcement, a deputy was conducting traffic enforcement near the intersection of Rts. 20 and 522 when a vehicle made an unsafe turn onto Narrow Gauge Road, cutting off an oncoming vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Jeffrey Alan Jenkins, 57, of Unionville was arrested and charged with felony driving on a revoked license, DUI related.

Jenkins’ passenger, Darren Glover, 59, of Fredericksburg, was found to have 11 outstanding warrants from Culpeper and Orange counties. He was also arrested. Both were transported to the Central Virginia Regional Jail.

Jenkins will appear in Orange County General District Court April 25 at 8:30 a.m. Glover is expected to appear in Orange County Circuit Court May 1 at 9:30 a.m.
