Two Locust Grove men have been arrested in separate domestic violence incidents.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to an in-progress assault at a residence in Locust Grove July 23. The suspect, Russell G. Lee, Jr. fled the scene. A K-9 search was unsuccessful. While a warrant was being obtained, Lee, 44 of Locust Grove, returned to the residence and committed another assault on the victim. He was apprehended and transported to the Central Virginia Regional Jail (CVRJ).
Two days later on July 25, deputies responded to another domestic violence call in Locust Grove. Following an investigation, Joseph A. Glascock, 30, of Locust Grove was arrested and transported to CVRJ.
Lee faces two counts of assault and battery of a family member, third offense. He is expected to appear in Orange County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Aug. 7. Glascock faces one count of assault and battery of a family member, third or more offense. He will appear in Orange County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Sept. 11.
