The Orange County Sheriff’s office is investigating a shooting incident in the eastern end of the county.
According to law enforcement, there is a heavy police and first responder presence in the area of Rt. 3 and Goodwin Drive due to a shooting incident. Drivers should expect delays and traffic disruptions in the area.
There is no threat to the public. Law enforcement states a suspect has been detained and the situation is under control.
