An Orange County man has been indicted on more than 50 charges.

According to law enforcement, in December the Orange County Sheriff’s Office began investigating allegations against Sean Patrick Williams, 20, of Orange County. Investigators executed a search warrant on Williams’ electronic devices with a forensic investigation resulting in the discovery of a large number of images and other media depicting child sexual abuse materials as well as videos depicting a person engaging in sexual contact with an animal.
At the time, Williams was in Navy training and was ultimately arrested in Connecticut.
Late last month, Williams was indicted by an Orange County Grand Jury on dozens of charges including 50 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material; three counts of production of child sexual abuse material; two counts of indecent liberties with a child; one count of object sexual penetration and one count of producing, distributing or possessing obscene items depicting a person engaged in sexual contact with an animal.
Williams was extradited back to Orange County on Tuesday. He is scheduled to appear in court Friday, Feb. 20 at 11:30 a.m.
