The annual Madison Library Lawn Community Yard Sale is planned for Saturday, Oct.11, 8 a.m. to noon.
The Friends of the Madison Library are excited to offer a wide assortment of items, all donated by generous members of the community to be sold in support of library programs.
Categories include artwork, children’s, collectibles, house wares, jewelry, linens, gardening items, sporting goods, furniture, tools, toys, and an amazing assortment of holiday décor, especially Halloween!
In addition to the library items, local vendors and non-profits may make a modest donation in order to have a place on the library lawn to sell their own items: just $20 for a 12 foot by 12 foot space or $15 for non-profits.
The Madison County Library is not a county owned library, rather one of 14 independent non-profit libraries in the state. The library receives some support from the state and the county, but over 30% comes from public contributions including funds raised by the Friends of the Library.
The rain date is Saturday, Oct. 18.
The library is located at 402 N. Main Street, Madison. For more information, visit www.madisoncountyvalibrary.org or call (540) 948-4720.
