Teens are taking over the Cellar at Four County Players.
Beginning Friday, Jan. 30, the Barboursville theater will present “I Have 99 Problems and Being a Teenager is All of Them.” The Teen Arts Project (TAP) Production features two one-act plays, “The Internet is a Distract–Oh Look a Kitten” and “Box.” The plays are all about the challenges of being a teenager.
The first features Micah who has 20 minutes to finish her school paper. She just needs to check a few facts first, but easily gets distracted. In “Box,” teens explore the ways in which the world sees people or the boxes everyone is placed into. The plays are presented through special arrangements with Playscripts, Inc. and Theatrefolk, respectively.
The production stars Imogen Campbell, Ruth Chapman, Cassidy Coughenour, Aurelia Everett, Fiona Furlong, Lisa Medders, Declan Michael, Cora Moylan, Audrina Scheirer, Grayson Schindler, Tempe Tatum, Piper Wells and Ari Williams.
Melina Zimet serves as director with Katie Hutchins as director mentor and Lisa Medders as producer.
